Since its founding in 1815, the port of Frontera has been the historical place of Mexico par excellence, full of traditions and customs, its streets, some houses and buildings, as well as its park, have a lot to tell us. On June 13, 2007, the Historic Center of Frontera was recognized as the place where the historical, architectural and urban heritage is located and where there are various monuments that bear tangible and visual testimony of the rich history of Centla, which is why it is one of the three Magical Towns of Tabasco.
